The purpose of the manual is to provide guidelines for planning and design of hydraulic devices related to land transport infrastructure by the national institute of vias. the manual includes aspects related to hydrology; surface and subsurface drainage and scour; by which it intends to contribute to the generation of a condition of circulacincmoda and safe for users; as well as protect national roads against the adverse effect of surface and underground water.
